We have been so busy in the last few months blogging was put on the wayside. We have since created a commercial describing what we do with our recycling program. We have also composed letters that we will be sending to the New Bedford Public School Committee stressing the importance of recycling and truely believe that all schools should be pursuing efforts to do the same in order to preserve our precious planet we live on. Stay tuned for more news.

ON YOUR MARK GET SET READ
Roosevelt students from the Blue House celebrated on March 3 with an ice cream sundae party for approximately 260 students. This was a reading incentive prize for being the ones who read the most books since December 1. A total of 685 books were read beating the Purple House by only 25 books. Chocolate and vanilla ice cream was topped with hot fudge, butterscotch, or caramel, whipped cream and sprinkles. Congratulations to all the students who read. Now they are working on a Dance Party for the House that has the most students reading a book. What a way to end the school day. Go Roosevelt—-!!! #semls20
